Khosro Ghorbani Farajzad (1963) is a professional maestro in Ghobar Shekasteh style of Nastaliq calligraphy. Ghobar Shekasteh is literally particle-sized Nastaliq with Shekasteh style.
“Shekasteh Nastaliq writing is my destiny calligraphy; since it enamored me and revealed old secrets to me,” he says.
Ghorbani is a civil engineering graduate who has completed managerial and scientific careers so far.
He was born in Tabriz, the Iranian city replete with traditions and remarkable memories in his words.
